SMR: Fundraiser in Honour of Jenna Morrison
On Thursday December 15, 2011 – friends, family and fellow Torontonians are all invited to gather in honour Jenna Morrison and to lay some added foundation for a safer more secure future. This event not only promises to celebrate life with colourful displays of vigour and vitality, but also allowing us all to rally around Jenna’s memory – as a tragic yet strong and life-giving figure in our city’s history.
Special guest MP Olivia Chow will also be on hand; not only to raise hope and awareness via our civic duties and political options, but also to auction-off many prized items to help raise funds for Jenna’s son Lucas.
“In Honour of Jenna” is another step towards bringing meaning and comfort from a terrible event. By allowing us all to collectively plan for a better future for all citizens of our city; both for the living and those yet to be borne. Please come and take part in a spiritual gathering, a marshaling of political forces and a celbration of song and dance that affirms our faith in life and the living.
Members of the Media; are invited to learn of the many opportunities for superb photos and ongoing stories that this event is making possible for everyone. (MORE: below)
All proceeds from this event will go to a trust fund for Jenna’s son Lucas.
